Should I Stay or Should I Go?

These tight restrictions imposed on all of us over a period of nearly three months has taken a toll. A vast number of consumers are suffering with lock down fatigue and fever. And the only prescription to that cabin fever isn’t cowbell, but travel opportunities. The pent up demand to GO anywhere is rising to a mad frenzy. The question isn’t really where, the question on so many leery minds is when?

I understand the wait and see approach. Cautious optimism makes sense. There is an insurmountable amount of unknowns especially when it comes to International Travel and we are all treading lightly at the future of travel’s landscape.  No one knows better than Travel Advisors on how to book risk friendly with refundable deposits, travel insurance, and with providers that are giving Future Cruise Credits to all of our clients should something occur.

But there is a distinct possibility if you wait until “all systems go”, your 2021 trip will quickly be your 2022 as availability will become an issue. Pent up Demand aside…limited capacity plays a huge part. The restrictions in place with properties and outfits opening affects numbers. Less Room=Higher Rates

The other factor is all the postponed travel dates…. Most travelers who were supposed to travel Spring and early Summer have postponed their travel dates. therefore limited availability is already booked!

My one recommendation for your epic trip in 2021, Book It Now!

Especially these destinations…

Alaska

It pains me to even write about the Last Frontier and the impact of this pandemic.  Every single cruise line has had their summer 2020 schedule wiped out for the season. The industry as a whole is offering generous incentives for guests to book the 2021 Alaskan Summer and consumers are jumping at it with a healthy dose of enthusiasm. Royal Caribbean, Disney Cruise Line, and Princess Cruise Line are seeing rebookings with their cruise with confidence motto.  And the more refined and smaller luxury ships such as our favorites, Crystal, Seabourne and Silversea luxe staterooms are simply disappearing.  If 2021 Alaskan cruises are on your list, contact us very soon…

Africa

This bucket list trip for so many multi generation families has been delayed with a lot of heartache and already guests are counting down for 2021. How Far Adventures favorite Safari suppliers Hills of Africa ,Tauck Tours, and Abercrombie and Kent are booking 2021 now with a victorious vengeance. Nothing can compare to the idyllic landscape of the Savanna, the thrill of the hunt of the big 5 or the first glimpse of awe inspiring Victoria Falls, trust me. If you have thoughts of visiting this life changing continent, we are here to help!

Amawaterways

River Cruising will make a huge and triumphant return! Now more than ever, cruising is going to be the safest it has ever been. With the pre-boarding Health Screens and onboard hygiene and cleaning protocols in place, the work being done now will make the river’s comeback imminent. Amawaterways popular European sailings like the Danube, Rhine, Rhone, and Seine are booking 2021 and 2022 now but it’s the smaller ships and rivers in Africa (Chobe), Asia (Mekong), and Egypt ( The Nile) that are gaining a lot of attention and the need for booking expediency. Designed specifically for wildlife viewing, the intimate Zambezi Queen accommodates only 28 guests!  And the AmaDahlia sailing The Nile is an inviting and exclusive 68-passenger ship.  If you want to experience these unparalleled discovery cruises, please reach out today!!
