Rachael O’Brien- Founder and Travel Advisor

Before founding How Far Adventures, I spent years in front of the camera and behind the scenes as a television reporter and producer in the U.S. Virgin Islands, a high level sports broadcaster in Atlanta and New York City, and a writer for travel and lifestyle publications. My career also wove through the world of television and film where precision, performance, and storytelling were everything.

That background shaped how I approach my first passion, travel: with a producer’s eye for pacing, a journalist’s hunger for authenticity, and an explorer’s instinct for beautiful risk.

I’ve traveled to six of the seven continents, and I’m endlessly inspired by the Caribbean’s barefoot luxury, the romantic rhythm of Europe, and the wild, transformative edges of the world that remind us who we are or who we can be.

As an independent affiliate of Gifted Travel Network, a Virtuoso Member Agency, I bring insider access, global connections, and a storyteller’s discernment to every itinerary.
