This ultra luxury resort made the list simply because it is exceptional. Located in the remote canyonlands of Utah, Amangiri has the most colorful sunsets anywhere! The resort is built into the ancient landscape so that it blends into the rock that changes color all day from ochre, deep peach, and burnt orange through the day. The Mesas and Canyons give true homage to the words awesome and adventure. The privileged access to surrounding National Park and Lake Powell will fill your days with hiking and riding and the gorgeous dining with locally Native American dining will have you peacefully dreaming. Not your typical family resort but an indulgent experience to remember for all ages.
Jumby Bay, A Rosewood Resort, Antigua
Antigua is open to all visitors! Jumby Bay is a private 300 acre Island accessible only by boat. NOT A CAR around but plenty of bikes to cruise this coast. The rooms and villas total only 40 so it is an incredibly intimate experience where everyone knows your name and greets you with a familiarity. Everything you can imagine is included on this Eden. While there’s a complimentary ferry service that runs all day to the “Big Island”, truly there is no reason to leave.
