I woke up this beautiful morning and looked out my window at the blooming Dogwoods. I did what I do almost every morning, I asked my four year old to turn on the coffee and I read the good news.
The first headline read. “Disney purchases more land near Magic Kingdom”.
A smile spread across my face. Mr. Disney’s legacy continues…turning swampland into a place of celebration and moving forward into the future with curiosity. How appropriate.
I have been working on a balance of staying present and empathetic about this true global crisis and its devastating effects but at the same time, equally staying positive and helping everyone continue to dream.
The Show Must Go On.
Here are a few of my favorite Disney lyrics to help you brave the stage.
1. Moana:
“See the line where the sky meets the sea, it calls me. And no one knows, how far it goes. If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me, one day I’ll know how far I’ll Go.” Keep your eye on the horizon. There is a great big beautiful tomorrow. This “unprecedented” time will pass and after we have gone inward…onward we will go. That’s a promise. 
2. Beauty and the Beast:
“I want adventure in the great wide somewhere, I want it more than I can tell. And for once it might be grand to have someone understand, I want so much more than they’ve got planned.” This is the time to dare to dream big, use it to your advantage. Make your travel adventure bucket list and do so boldly! We are here to help your plan.
3. Cinderella: “Have faith in your dreams and someday, Your rainbow will come smiling through. No matter how your heart is grieving, If you keep on believing The dream that you wish will come true.” What a message of hope! Maybe it’s because Disney fairy tales run through my veins or maybe I have faith that everything will work out the way it should. I believe this with all my heart. What you look at, you see. Whatever you consume, you become. A dream is a wish your heart makes. Renew you mind, transform your life.
4. Jungle Book: “Look for those bare necessities, those simple bare necessities, forget about your worry and your strife.” We have everything we need and all of Mother Nature’s recipes are here. This Covid-19 pandemic will teach us lessons we may not have wanted to learn but above all else, it will show us what we can live without and what’s a bare necessity for our lives. “
5. Zootopia: “I won’t give up, no I won’t give in. Till I reach the end. And then I’ll start again. No I won’t leave. I wanna try everything. I wanna try even though I could fail. Oh I wanna try everything.”
